When passing a parameter from non interactive report to interactive report, interactive report is getting rendered in non-interactive mode as well and losing interactive control. It is needed to retain “interactivity” defined at detailed report level. Solution is to create hyperlink button containing drill through report url and open in new window.

Datasets can be used for quick analysis and dashboard creation. We are trying to develop report using data set sourced from Package and applying filters. However, once we create a data set and reopen it, t here does not seem to be a way to pull up the properties of a specific data item to find out the source of it.  That makes it not useful for creating data modules as maintenance will be added to track field to source mapping.
